Fire damages storage units

Firefighters responding to a call just before midnight Saturday at ABC Storage south of Granbury extinguished a blaze that destroyed three storage units and heavily damaged a boat and construction material.

The fire was near the intersection of Contrary Creek Road and Bluebonnet Drive.

Fire Marshal Ray Wilson said Monday that the cause of the fire is still under investigation. No injuries were reported.

About seven or eight of the 28 storage units reportedly were damaged by smoke or flames.

The fire was called in at 11:48 p.m. and declared out shortly after 1:15 a.m.
