NOT A WIN, BUT NOT A LOSS: Granbury Fire Chief Darrell Grober was all smiles Tuesday night as he and his wife, Kendall, left a gathering at Harbor Lakes Golf Club for state representative candidate Cullen Crisp. Grober will face Kathy Gwinn in a May 27 runoff for the Precinct 3 justice of the peace office.

THE WAITING GAME: County Clerk Mary Burnett shrugged off the stress Tuesday night as she waited at American Town Hall for election results to come in. Burnett lost the election to Katie Lang in a 57/43 percent vote split.
