DPS makes 4 recent arrests

DPS troopers made recent felony arrests for unauthorized use of a vehicle and evading arrest with a vehicle, as well as a couple of drug offenses, according to Hood County Jail records.

All four of the suspects listed residences outside Hood County.

Jason Michael Hatcher, 24, of Aledo, was arrested by a trooper at about 4:30 p.m. on Nov. 8 on FM 51 on a third-degree felony charge of evading arrest with a vehicle, records show.

On Tuesday, Kevin Jay Basham, 41, of Fort Worth, was stopped by a trooper shortly before 8 p.m. on Highway 377 and arrested on a state jail felony charge of possession of a controlled substance, Penalty Group 1, less than 1 gram.

The unauthorized use of a vehicle charge, a state jail felony, was filed on Rosa Linda Lesly, 29, of Fort Worth after she was stopped by a trooper just before 2 a.m. on Nov. 5 on FM 3450. She is also facing a pair of misdemeanor charges stemming from the arrest.

Danita Jo Gibson, 48, of Glen Rose, is facing a state jail felony count of possession of a controlled substance, Penalty Group 1, less than 1 gram. Gibson was arrested at about 5 p.m. on Nov. 4 after being stopped in the 5000 block of FM 51.
