Diamond ring, special dollar bills stolen in burglary

A diamond ring and cash were stolen in a house burglary in the 2600 block of West Highland Drive in the Royal Oaks addition west of Acton.

The burglary possibly occurred June 14.

Items reported stolen are a half-carat diamond yellow and white gold ring, size 7; a blue lock box with a three-digit combination containing cash and several commemorative dollar bills with Santa Claus and the American flag in the middle instead of a president. Also stolen were older bills released before the current print of new bills. Several $2 bills were also missing.
