County attorney set for group presentation

Hood County’s second female county attorney has a few things to say about its first.

Lori Kaspar, who took office in that position on Jan. 1, will present a PowerPoint presentation for the Hood County Historical/Genealogical Society on Monday about Granbury native Nellie Gray Robertson. In 1918, fresh out of the University of Texas, Robertson was elected as the first female county attorney in Texas history.

“She was elected before she could even vote,” Kaspar said.

The presentation on Robertson is open to the public, at the Granbury Railroad Depot, 109 Ewell St. It’s set for 7 p.m.
