A woman uses her umbrella to stay dry Monday morning while walking in the rain on the square in downtown Granbury. The rain and cooler weather brought the afternoon high temperature down to the low 70s – to the delight of area residents. Pecan Plantation had the most rainfall reported in Hood County from early Sunday to early Monday, with 3.4 inches in one location and 3.1 inches in another. A resident of Bentwater had 2.5 inches during that time frame, while Acton had 2.2 inches, Tolar 2 inches and Cresson 1.31 inches. A location in Granbury recorded the lowest total, .98 inches.
