Granbury Fire Inspector and Investigator Kevin Jones collects money Saturday in front of the Cotton Patch Cafe in Granbury during the “Fill the Boot” drive conducted by volunteer firefighters to raise money for Hood County Christmas for Children, which purchases Christmas toys for the less fortunate. The toy drive, held over the past two weekends, brought in more than $15,000 in donations as volunteers from all nine fire departments participated, Granbury Fire Chief Darrell Grober said. “I think it was a great success. People were very generous.”
