The money was raised through an effort conducted by the members of the DFW NCDA, which represents 11 counties in North Texas, and will benefit Habitat for Humanity. “The DFW NCDA is very pleased to have raised this much money in just a couple of weeks. The folks in Granbury and Cleburne were hit hard by these devastating tornados, so it is our hope that this money will help them in their effort to rebuild their communities,” said Tom Durant, chairman of the DFW NCDA. Mayor Pro-Tem Hulett expressed appreciation for the donation. “Every time we turn around, you (car dealers) are doing something for this community. So, thank you very much.”
