Burglary suspects arrested by deputies

December 15, 2012

A phone call Sunday reporting the burglary of vehicles in progress in the 2600 block of Scenic View Court in the Scenic View subdivision resulted in the arrest of two male suspects, according to Hood County Sheriff’s Office Lieutenant Johnny Rose.

Deputies learned that the men, ages 22 and 24, were seen by several victims stealing items from unlocked cars, Rose said.

“The two suspects fled and moments later were stopped by deputies on Lakeview Court (in Granbury),” Rose said. “The two suspects were in possession of reported stolen property and were placed under arrest.”

When asked what of items were stolen and whether or not everything had been recovered, Rose responded only by saying that the case is “under investigation.”

Both suspects were charged with burglary of a motor vehicle, a Class A misdemeanor. They were released from the Hood County Jail after posting bond of $2,500 each.
