A 69-year-old Erath County woman suffered injuries that were not believed to be life-threatening on Saturday afternoon in Granbury when the bicycle she was riding was struck by a 2009 Lexus, according to officials.

Granbury Police Department Deputy Chief Alan Hines stated that the bicyclist, Stephanie Michelle Noland of Stephenville, “turned when unsafe by turning left into traffic in front of (the Lexus).”

The car struck the rear tire of the bicycle, resulting in the fall. The bicycle had been traveling on the shoulder of the off ramp from Highway 377 toward Morgan Street.

Both were eastbound.

The 80-year-old driver of the Lexus, a Tolar woman, and her male passenger were both uninjured.
