A 35-year-old Keller woman is facing a state jail felony charge after a Granbury Police Department officer arrested her on one count of possession of less than 1 gram of a controlled substance – methamphetamine – according to Lieutenant Cliff Andrews.
Marissa Shannon Harris was driving when she was stopped on Thursday, July 12, by the officer in the 4500 block of Highway 377 East in Granbury.
The officer noted she was failing to maintain a single lane of traffic and was following another vehicle too closely at the time, Andrews said.
The officer “received consent to search the vehicle and located a small bag” of meth, Andrews said.
Chelene Ann Trimmier, 25, of the 3100 block of Crystal Lake Drive in the deCordova Hills subdivision east of Granbury, was arrested on June 29 on a felony drug warrant, according to Deputy Chief Alan Hines of the Granbury Police Department.
Trimmier was taken into custody in the 300 block of West Pearl Street in Granbury.
She has been charged with a state jail felony count of possession of a controlled substance, Penalty Group 1, less than 1 gram, according to Hood County Jail records.
