Ashley Lowrance and Dillon King, both of Grapevine, were united in marriage on Saturday, Aug. 18, 2012 at Meridian Valley Country Club in Kent, Wash.

The bride’s grandmother, Ret. Kent County Judge Linda Thompson, officiated the ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of Wendy and Rhyne Nylaan of Keller and Charles Lowrance of Trophy Club.

Grandparents of the bride are Carol Ford of Mount Pleasant, Rex Lowrance of Decatur and Virgil and Linda Thompson of Kent, Wash.

The groom is the son of Robbie and Dorsey Rushing of Granbury and Don King of Midland.

Grandparents of the groom are Bob and Betty Berry of Granbury and the late Jerry and Donna King of Odessa.

The bride’s sister, Chelsea Lowrance of Fort Worth, served as maid of honor.

The groom’s cousin, Wade Whisnand of Nashville, Tenn., served as best man.

Following the ceremony, a reception was held at Meridian Valley Country Club.

Prior to the wedding, a rehearsal brunch at the country club was hosted by Don and Mary King.

The bride is a graduate of the University of Texas at Austin. She is employed with the Four Seasons Resort and Club-Dallas at Las Colinas.

The groom attended Texas Tech University. He is employed with KSI of Midland.

Following a two-week honeymoon in Kauai, Hawaii and Maui Islands, the couple will reside in Keller.
