Sabra Jennings and Andy Helton were united in marriage on Saturday, June 30, 2012 at 2 p.m. at the University of Houston Chapel.

The bride was escorted down the aisle by her parents, Ron and Cathey Jennings of Granbury.

Maid of Honor was Kelly Hibbeler of Dallas and Best Man was Will Passmore of Houston. Reverend Orin Flynn officiated.

The reception was held at the Nouveau Antique Art Bar in downtown Houston. Guests enjoyed appetizers, drinks and dancing. The three-tier wedding cake was made with layers of spice and chocolate and white buttercream frosting. It was topped with satin wedding bells from her parents’ wedding.

A rehearsal dinner of fajitas was hosted by the groom’s parents, Jim and Betty Helton of Houston, at the couple’s home on Friday evening.

Sabra is a 2001 graduate of Granbury High School and received her bachelor’s degree in journalism from Texas Tech University and her master’s in library and information science from the University of Tennessee. She is a program manager in the College of Education at the University of Houston.

Andy is a 2000 graduate of Klein Forest High School in Houston received his bachelor’s degree in political science from Austin College in Sherman and his Juris Doctorate degree from South Texas College of Law in Houston. He is a project manager-attorney for Donovan Watkins Legal in Houston.

The newlyweds spent their honeymoon in Hawaii and reside in Houston.
