Sarah Benson and Nicholas Ayala, both of Granbury, were united in Christian marriage on Sunday, May 26, 2013 at 4 p.m. at the home of the bride. The ceremony was officiated by Josiah Jones and the music was provided by Digital DJ’s of Dallas. A reception followed the ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Bill and Rita Benson of Granbury. She is the granddaughter of the late Junior and Betty Riddle of Granbury.
The groom is the son of Ms. Dana Ayala and Mr. Jerry Grant and the late Michael Ayala.
Given in marriage by her parents, the bride wore an ivory silk charmeuse strapless gown.
Serving as matron of honor was the bride’s sister, Deanna Janks of West Chester, Pa. Bridesmaids were Marissa Garcia, Stori Knight and Rheala Coats.
Serving as best man was Peter Ayala, uncle of the groom. Groomsmen were Joshua Ayala, Matthew Ayala and Luis Beltran.
Ushers included Travis Benson and Joseph Ayala.
The flower girl was Haven Riddle, cousin of the bride, and ring bearer, Weston Michael Ayala, was escorted by his cousin Raines and Mendy Riddle.
The bride graduated from Granbury High School Stars Academy in 2011 and is currently attending Weatherford College. The groom graduated from Granbury High School in 2006 and is currently working at Vista Sand in Granbury.
The couple plan to take their honeymoon in the Bahamas and reside in Granbury.
