Rebecca Ann Bennett and Alexander Paul Louis Hydrean, both of San Diego, Calif., were united in marriage on Saturday, June 2, 2012 at Wiens Family Cellars in Temecula, Calif.
The bride was given in marriage by her parents, Tim and Nancy Bennett of Granbury. The Reverend Maxine Dornemann officiated the double-ring ceremony
Grandparents of the bride are Elizabeth Brosman of Centerville Mass., the late Ralph Brosman, and the late Bert and Caroline Bennett.
The groom is the son of Paul and Diane Hydrean of Downington, Pa.
Grandparents of the groom are the late Peter and Stella Hydrean of Tucson, Ariz., and Dorothy McAfoos of Downingtown, Pa., and the late Dr. Louis McAfoos Jr.
Sarah Bennett of Chicago, Ill., served as maid of honor.
Bridal attendants were Elizabeth Staples of Fort Worth, Meredith Dyer of Plano, and Christy Verbofsky of Gibsonia, Pa.
Christian Beyer of Somerville, Mass., and Ben Hydrean of Downingtown, Pa., served as best men. Groomsmen were Thomas Bennett of Granbury and Russel Verbofsky of Gibsonia, Pa.
Following the ceremony a reception was held at Wiens Family Cellars, Temecula, Calif.
Prior to the wedding a rehearsal dinner at Ponte Family Estate Winery was hosted by the groom’s parents.
The bride is a graduate of Texas Academy of Mathematics and Science and Cornell University, Ithaca, N.Y., with a Bachelor of Science in chemical engineering.
She is a Lieutenant, JG with the U.S. Navy serving aboard the USS Nimitz as a helicopter pilot stationed out of San Diego, Calif.
The groom is a graduate of Dowingtown High School and Cornell University, Ithaca, N.Y. with a Bachelor of Science in earth systems engineering.
He is a Lieutenant, JG with the U.S. Navy serving aboard the USS San Francisco stationed out of San Diego, Calif.
The couple will reside in San Diego, CA.
