Seventeen Texas wineries will be featured at the fourth annual Granbury Wine Walk Friday and Saturday, April 26-27. Wine Walk booths will be open from noon to 8 p.m. both days.
The wine tastings will be seasoned with a little art, some food and live music on the historic square and surrounding area.
Those attending the Wine Walk can purchase tickets in advance for $20 at www.granburywinewalk. com or at Langdon Center.
Tickets at the Wine Walk event will be $25 and available at a ticket booth near Stuff ’N Nonsense on Bridge Street, and at Granbury Square Plaza, 205 E. Pearl St.
The Wine Walk ticket includes a keepsake wine glass and ticket tabs for the tastings. The ticket is good for both days.
A number of art-related vendors at the Wine Walk include W.I.N.E. (Wine in New Elements) with jewelry and other wine-related merchandise; Accents 2 of Granbury; L3Glass (stained glass); RogueArt4; It’s in the Art (embroidery); Look Home with vintage pieces for the home; Cedarstone Ranch (décor pieces made from wine barrels) and J4Sculpted Steel of Granbury.
Ten food vendors will be giving samples, selling food — or both. The booths include Eagle Mountain Cheese, Texas Toffee, Wenzel Lone Star Meat Co., Texas Cheese House, Round Rock Honey, Mi Familia, Veldhuizen, Del Norte, Texas Hill Country Olive Oil, Waterview Life.
SIP & SAVOR VIP SPECIAL EVENT
The Sip & Savor VIP kick-off event will be Thursday, April 25, from 7 to 10 p.m. Featured wines will be featured with food pairings.
The Sip & Savor VIP event will take place near the historic square at a private estate overlooking Lake Granbury. Music will be provided by the Greg Ball Trio. The Lake Granbury Art Association will provide art for the silent auction.
Tickets are $100 (includes a Wine Walk ticket) and must be purchased in advance at Langdon Center, The Panhandle or online at www.granburywinewalk.com. This year’s beneficiaries are Mission Granbury and Preserve Granbury.
