Above, Julie Lyssy at St. Frances Cabrini Catholic Church, receives a food donation from incoming Lions Club President Harry Turner. The food was given to help those recovering from the tornado. In addition to the food donation, the Lions Club delivered air conditioners to be used at homes damaged by the tornado. Hundreds of reader glasses were also delivered to St. Frances for distribution to other organizations in need. The glasses came from the Midland Texas Lions Club Eyeglass Recycling Center. The Granbury Lions Club also gave Pastor Margret Fields, outreach minister at Acton Methodist, 20 Walmart $100 gift cards to be distributed to families in need after the tornado.
