Library offers movies

The Hood County Library, 222 N. Travis St., has free movie matinees on Tuesdays at 5:30 p.m.

Jan. 22: “Africa Screams,” starring Abbott and Costello.

Jan. 29: “Grumpier Old Men,” starring Jack Lemmon and Walter Matthau.

Popcorn and refreshments will be provided, reports Samantha Smith, assistant director at the library.
