Learn to preserve your garden goodies

Presented by the AgriLife Extension office, the Food Preservation Workshop Thursday, Aug. 29, includes the basics of water bath canning, pressure canning. Canner testing is also available. The workshop is 6-8 p.m. at Hood County Annex 1, 1410 W. Pearl St. The workshop is limited to 15 people. The fee is $20. Pre-registration is requested, 817-579-3280.
