Ann Ochs, D.O., medical oncologist, will address environmental effects on cancer and the initiatives available through Moncrief Cancer Institute at the October meeting for Healthy Woman.
The luncheon meeting is Tuesday, Oct. 16 from noon to 1 p.m. at the Granbury Resort Conference Center, 621 E. Pearl St. The fee is $2 for members, or $5 for non-members.
The program will also feature a display by Bras for a Cause and the Breast Cancer Survivor Wall. If you or someone you know is a breast cancer survivor, call Shannon Kostecka, at 817-579-2955 to be included on the Breast Cancer Survivor Wall.

FALL ANNIVERSARY PROGRAM
Along with the cooler temperatures, hot chocolate and cozy clothes, Healthy Woman is looking forward to celebrating its sixth anniversary.
A special anniversary program Saturday, Nov. 3 is billed as a day filled with fun, laughter and shopping!
Former Biggest Loser contestant Abby Rike is keynote speaker for the anniversary event. Rike lost her beloved husband, daughter and infant son in a car crash. She learned that even in the darkest hour, there is always hope.
Rike will share how health and wellness can promote spiritual, emotional and physical healing.
The anniversary event is at Granbury High School, 200 W. Pearl St. A free vendor expo runs from 10 a.m. to noon, the luncheon begins at noon, followed by the speaker at 1 p.m.
Tickets are $15 for lunch and the speaker, or $10 for the speaker only.
Tickets are available for purchase at the Healthy Woman office in the LGMC administrative building, or at the Senior Circle Office, 1312 Paluxy Road.
