Community worship, Easter egg hunt set

The Community Easter Egg Hunt at Acton United Methodist Church (UMC) takes place Saturday, April 19, from 5-6:30 p.m. A worship service will follow in the Acton UMC Youth Building, located at 3433 Fall Creek Highway.

Acton UMC’s Easter event includes a variety of entertaining activities for children and families. Everything is free and open to the public.

Activities include face painting and craft activities, supervised Easter games and photos with the Easter Bunny.

The egg hunt will feature plastic eggs filled with candy and toys.

The church is organizing the event along with local advocacy groups and organizations.

Everyone is asked to bring their own basket/bag to collect eggs. Prizes will be awarded in four categories beginning with ages 3 and under, ages 4-7, ages 8-11 and a special hunt for the older kids ages 12 and up.
