Community service for Thanksgiving

It’s a chance to observe Thanksgiving with friends and neighbors — and to help People Helping People. The annual Community Thanksgiving Service takes place at 6 p.m. Sunday at Generations Church, 5718 E. Highway 377. Father Stuart Smith of Good Shepherd Church will be the speaker this year.

An offering will be collected for People Helping People, a nonprofit agency that helps those in need. The service will emphasize congregational singing this year.
