GENERATIONS CHURCH

WILL HAVE TWO SERVICES

To meet the needs of the congregation, Generations Church will begin having two Sunday morning services on Sept. 8.

The first service starts at 9 a.m. and the second at 10:30 a.m. Children’s Ministries will be available during the 10:30 a.m. service.

CHURCH SCHOLARSHIPS

HELPING STUDENTs AT SCHOOL

The Scholarship Program providing sponsored by the First Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) of Granbury provides financial assistance to deserving men and women attending accredited colleges and universities.

Established in 2000, the program has provided financial assistance to many. Currently, Amy Snider, a senior at TCU, is receiving the Roy and Bob Hudman Scholarship awarded to the applicant who has accumulated the highest college-university grade point average for the preceding year.

Others receiving scholarships include Melanie Robison, senior at Howard Payne University; Lucas Baker, sophomore at Stephen F Austin University; Jacquelyn Wall, sophomore at Texas Tech University; Breana Schlosser, freshman at Weatherford College.

Also receiving awards are Phillip Bentham, Masters of Sacred Music at Perkins School of Theology at SMU and Ronald Branstetter, Master of Divinity at Brite Divinity at TCU.
