Nine-year-old Emmalee King broke out in a big smile after she realized the pretty white teddy bear she was holding at Annex I Saturday afternoon had wings. Emmalee turned around and handed the angel bear to her 3-year-old brother Chance. As young victims of the May 15 tornado, the King children had an invitation from Lone Star Santas, a volunteer organization of Santas across Texas. Several Santas and their helpers were on hand to visit and encourage the children, and to offer them their choice of presents from a room full of “Christmas” gifts.
