A huge crowd came out to Saturday afternoon to celebrate the new air-conditioned dining hall complex at Camp El Tesoro, located on Fall Creek Highway, near the Pecan Plantation main gate. Centrally located within Camp Fire’s 223-acre camp the new facility is designed to give campers and staff easier access. Aptly named WoHeLo Lodge, meaning work health and love. Camp Fire U.S.A. officials and campers through the generations were on hand to help celebrate. One such camper, Jean Lochtrog, had the distinction of being a camper that first year and was on hand to help with the ribbon cutting.
