Five Hood County 4-H’ers attended 4-H Day at the State Capitol, where Texas 4-H was recognized in the Senate and House of Representatives. In the afternoon, students were able to spend some time with legislators to talk about the good things 4-H is doing in the community. They also watched a rattlesnake demonstration and witnessed Heisman Trophy winner and Texas A&M quarterback Johnny Manziel honored for his accomplishments.
