Let’s organize to clean shoreline

The level of our lake is without a doubt a huge concern for our community.

For decades, vast amount of old cans, bottles and other lovely treasures have found their way to the bottom of Lake Granbury. Although the water level being low is not beneficial, Granbury as a community could take advantage of this time of drought and organize shoreline cleanup days.

Surely there are concerned citizens, students, church groups and other group organizations willing to volunteer their time or gain community service hours and adopt “Lake Granbury Cleanup” as a project.

We can take pride and act soon while we can clean up our lake and make a difference for the future. In the meantime, we can continue to pray for drought recovery and normal lake levels.

Please stop killing the lions

Please stop killing lions.

Some people, like me, like lions, so please stop killing them. There are only 32,000 to 35,000 still alive, so please stop killing them.
