Drained lake could be

used for development

Draining the lake and using the dam as a loop around the south side of Granbury would remove a great deal of heavy traffic congestion on 144 and 377. Might be able to change the speed limit on divided area of 144 back to at least 70 miles.

The drained lake area of land could be used for future development of houses, apartments, condos and businesses. Maybe allowing relief to the poor taxpayers?

Think this idea wouldn’t work? Take a look at Dallas and Fort Worth area. Congested to say the least.
