Hood Countians reach out to help storm victims

June 8, 2013

You sometimes stand too close to something and not recognize it.

That’s the way the 20 some odd years were spent in Hood County. My daughter and two grandsons were in the Rancho Brazos tornado and lost everything.

God and the people of Hood County have made sure that they want for nothing. They are not doing it because they have to, they are doing it because they want to.

I want to thank them with all my heart, and to answer the cheers and jeers, where was God?

He was right in the middle of the storm sparing my daughter and two grandsons. I will pray for you that someday you will not have to ask where He is.
