Tolar announces gun drawing

A gun a week.

For 52 weeks.

That’s what the Tolar Memorial Scholarship Foundation will be giving away.

Tickets are $50 each. Proceeds will go toward graduating Tolar students.

The first drawing starts after the foundation sells 1,000 tickets.

“Each $50 ticket is good for all 52 drawings,” said Doug Lewis, one of the foundation directors.

The number drawn in the Monday Pick 3 Lotto will be the winning ticket each week, Lewis said.

For more ticket information call 817-219-1086. If anyone wants to buy tickets by mail they can mail a check made out to Tolar Memorial Scholarship Foundation to Douglas Lewis, 1901 Powell Cemetery Road, Tolar, Texas, 76476.

The foundation has given over $200,000 in scholarships since the foundation was established.
