Baby Gracie, a 6-day-old baby goat, was a special visitor with Emma Roberson Elementary School pre-kindergartners recently. As part of a series of lessons on farm animals, the family of student Alexis Roberts brought the kid to help the children learn about baby goats and how they are fed. The owners had a huge baby bottle of goat’s milk for the kid to drink. “The students watched the baby goat, eat, run around the circle, and all were able to pet her,” said teacher Shelly Roop. Baby Gracie didn’t even fuss when the owner cleaned her up. Pictured is Baby Gracie with student Bailey Weldon.
