Students needing to take exit-level state exams will have an opportunity to take retests, which will be administered at Granbury High School and STARS Accelerated High School on Oct. 21-24.
These tests are also open to individuals who have completed all graduation requirements but have not mastered all sections of the TAKS (Texas Assessment of Knowledge and Skills).
This includes individuals who are no longer enrolled in Texas public schools. Former TAAS and TEAMS examinees will take the TAKS exit level tests.
Only those students who are out of school or outside the Granbury school district must register. Online registration is open at www.texasassessment.com/taksoos through Sept. 13. Paper registration packets are no longer available, and all advance registration must be done online. After Sept. 13, all registration must be done in person on the day of the test.
On the day(s) of testing, individuals should arrive at the test site 30 minutes prior to the designated testing time. Individuals must have picture identification, such as a driver’s license, DPS identification card, military identification card, school identification card, or resident alien card.
Those without appropriate picture identification cannot take the test.
For additional information, please contact GISD district testing coordinator Amy Gilbert at 817- 408-4035.
