State debate qualifiers

Tolar High School has qualified two students for the University Interscholastic League (UIL) State Cross-Examination Debate March 11-16 at the University of Texas at Austin. Juniors Meg Gilliam (left) and Corbin Wood earned first-place team honors at the UIL District Meet, during which they competed against Godley, Grandview and Whitney. This will be the pair’s second trip to state Cross-Examination Debate, having competed last year. The team is coached by Lindsay Morgan and Tara Shelton.
