SYNTHETIC TURF

AT PIRATE STADIUM?

That’s what the Granbury School Board will consider at Monday evening’s regular meeting starting at 6.

“The turf project is a small part of the energy savings plan we are going through that will replace HVAC units, lighting, and controls for lighting and water conservation,” Superintendent James Largent said. “They will have a representative from the turf company at the meeting to make a presentation, answer questions, etc. After that, the board will decide to move forward or not with this piece of the plan.”

Also, the board will consider a resolution to support Hood County being placed in the Weatherford College service district. “What it really means is that public schools all have a certain community or junior college that they should work with,” Largent said.
