Acton Middle School students participated in a patriotic essay contest sponsored by Elizabeth Crockett chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR). Winning the chapter award was eighth-grader Tiffany Henney (middle), who received a medal and a $25 cash prize. Also recognized for their participation were Emma Barone and Lea Kimmell.
