Principal contracts extended

Contracts were extended for all Granbury school district principals and administrators Monday night. Superintendent James Largent’s contract was extended last month.

Also, trustees adopted a resolution regarding placing Hood County in the Weatherford College service area. The county is one of only a handful in the state that is not in community college districts.

Chamber of commerce representatives are working with state legislators and college officials on a bill to make the change.
