Christian Women’s Job Corps is a volunteer-run organization that provides women in need with an education in life, job skills and Christian values.
CWJC seeks to honor women who emulate Christian values while achieving success; women who have worked hard, overcoming obstacles or hardships, to attain their goals; and women who are considered shining examples of community servants, leaders in their professions and/or organizations as well as role models for family and friends.
CWJC honored Opal Durant by naming their Granbury Woman of the Year Award in her memory. Durant believed in helping women and children to achieve their dreams, particularly through education.
