Mariah Rendeiro, a senior at Granbury High School, was named one of the top 20 scholars in the state by the Texas Association of Secondary School Principals (TASSP).
The state educational organizational selected Rendeiro for the TASSP All-State Academic Excellence Team based on academic achievement, test scores and writing skills.
The award was designed to recognize Texas high school seniors for their outstanding academic achievements and the rewards of superior scholarship.
