Lipan students exceed food drive goal

November 9, 2013

A new club in Lipan called “I AM,” which stands for “ Indians on A Mission,” recently ended a canned food drive to benefit the Hood County Food Pantry. The club’s goal of 700 items was exceeded when they collected 710 nonperishable food items in only 2 weeks. The “I AM” Club is a service learning, student led club where students focus on community service and helping others.
