Students in Granbury ISD recently observed Red Ribbon Week. The national observance is the oldest and largest drug prevention program in the United States. Sponsored by the National Family Partnership, the campaign helps students and communities to unite and to take a visible stand against drugs. The school activities included motivational assemblies, pep rallies, spirit days, contests, and other programs designed to educate students about the dangers of alcohol, drugs, and tobacco. Pictured above on “Crazy Sock Day” are Acton Middle School girls putting a sock to drugs.
