Granbury High School celebrates pre-Halloween homecoming parade Monday

Acton Elementary students in ghostly attire came out in force to support the Granbury Pirate football team. Their banner declares the Fort Worth Trimble Tech Bulldogs don’t have a ghost of a chance against the Pirates. The squads squared off in district action last night in Pirate Stadium.

Hundreds of fans cheered Granbury Pirate varsity football players as they greeted the crowd during Monday’s homecoming parade. The Pirates hosted Trimble Tech Friday night in Pirate Stadium.

The Granbury High School Student Council float had a chest full of treasures and surprises for all the eager participants along the homecoming parade route Monday evening. Fans lined the route on Pearl Street.
