Two Granbury High School students will be headed to culinary schools following graduation in May. Bailey Trewin (left) will begin her studies in June at The Culinary Institute of America in San Antonio, while classmate Tasha Stacey (right) has been accepted to The Art Institute culinary program in Dallas beginning in July. The two GHS seniors are currently taking a culinary arts class taught by Rebecca Dawson. The course is part of a four-year track available through the district’s career and technical education program. Other classes in this subject area include hospitality, travel and tourism management, lifetime nutrition and wellness and restaurant management.
