Bus drivers support troops

Granbury school district transportation department employees wear red shirts on Fridays to show support for U.S. troops. Several bus drivers are veterans and previously served in the U.S. armed forces. The drivers are also gearing up for National School Bus Safety Week Oct. 22-26. With 60 percent of GISD students riding a school bus, the department transports over 3,500 students to and from school each day.
