A helicopter was used to complete a major Granbury ISD Energy Conservation Project in just two days. On July 5, 170 heating and air conditioning units were installed: Baccus (40 units), Oak Woods (48 units), Brawner (49 units) and Emma (33 units). On July 12, 33 units were installed: eight at Acton Elementary and 25 at Granbury High School. The project also included the installation of 12,000 energy efficient light fixtures and 400 energy efficient water features throughout GISD campuses.
