Drive-In gets second chance to stay alive

September 16, 2013

Granbury’s Brazos Drive-In wasn’t one of the five drive-ins awarded a new digitial projector over the weekend as part of a previously announced nationwide contest, but the  sponsor has extended the contest until Sept. 23. Honda has announced that four additional digital projectors will be awarded to the drive-ins that receive the most online votes (http://projectdrivein.com/). To promote the extension of the voting period and urge people to spread the word about the contest, Brazos Drive-In owner Jennifer Miller said that a promotional stunt at the drive-in last night featured Rick Bowser of Bowser Electric standing on top of the screen – drawing attention to the effort to keep the drive-in alive in the digital era.
