Driftwood collected from the shores of Lake Granbury, wire, beads, old jewelry, stained glass, and other items are used by the residents at The Point at Waterview to make their beautiful and unique Crosses for a Cause.

Each community in the Legend Retirement Corp. raises money every year to donate to the Alzheimer’s Association to help diminish this disease that effects one in eight elderly Americans. Over the past few years, The Point at Waterview residents have created crosses to sell to the public. The crosses sell anywhere from $5 to $100.

The crosses will be on sale through the end of September, and additional donations to the Alzheimer’s Association are greatly appreciated. You can visit the community at 100 Watermark Boulevard in Granbury.
