Construction continues at Camp El Tesoro for a new air-conditioned dining hall complex to seat 275. The new structure is centrally located, and will give all campers and staff easier access. It also features a large covered area for outdoor dining that will overlook a future lake. The new hall will be finished by this summer. Since 1934, thousands of children have had the opportunity to develop and grow while learning to appreciate nature at El Tesoro, Camp Fire’s 223-acre camp, located on Fall Creek Highway, near the Pecan Plantation main gate.
