Targeting both local residents and tourists, the city of Granbury launched a new marketing campaign this week.
“The campaign has a dual purpose,” Marketing Director Shanna Smith said at a press conference Wednesday morning at City Hall. “It will invite new visitors to our community and will reach out to our locals through a variety of mediums.
“It will provide our visitors with a sense of hospitality and our locals a sense of community pride,” stated Smith.
The campaign features one tagline aimed at visitors: “I live here. I love it. Come visit my Granbury.”
The alternate tagline is geared toward locals: “I live here. I love it. This is my Granbury.”
Smith hopes to unite Hood County, promote community pride and educate local residents on the new adventures they can find by patronizing local businesses and keeping dollars local.
In addition, the campaign provides branded promotional tools for Hood County business owners.
Smith is urging residents to share their Granbury experiences and tell potential visitors why they should come to the Granbury community.
To get involved, Smith suggests residents and merchants go to www.mygranbury.com. Inside, individuals will find a “How-To Implement” infographic, files of the logo and graphics for social media, as well as the first campaign video.
