“Helping You Become the Real You.” That’s the motto of the new Chalet of Wigs store at 1648 S. Meadows Drive.
The new shop officially opened Tuesday with a ribbon cutting ceremony.
Store owner Dominique Howard previously had a wig store in Colorado. “I just love this business. I love to help people,” she said with a smile.
Wigs are available at various price points from $150 and up.
Some in the senior population enjoy wearing wigs as their hair thins with age. Cancer patients who have lost their hair sometimes wear wigs. Enhancements are also available, and Howard plans to have hair extensions in the future.
The wigs come in all hair colors, including fun wigs in bright colors. Most of the wigs are made with synthetic hair, though human hair is also an option. With the hand-tied technique, the scalp of the wig looks totally natural.
The Chalet of Wigs carries all types of hair products for wigs including clips, turbans, wig caps, etc.
The store is open Tuesday – Friday from 10 a.m. – 6 p.m. Open Saturday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Closed on Sunday and Monday.
A 10 percent discount is available for senior citizens and a 15 percent discount is offered for CPTF.
