February 19, 2014

With the voting too close to call, the Howard Clemmons Distinguished Service Award was presented to J.C. Campbell, as well as Charles and Dominique Inge, at the Granbury Chamber of Commerce annual awards banquet Friday night at the Granbury Resort Conference Center.

Campbell was cited for his involvement in numerous activities. He’s served as a board member with the Hood County Committee on Aging, the Transit System and North Texas Council of Governments, as well as being a volunteer firefighter for over 36 years. He spent 22 years in city government and is also a Korean War veteran.

The Inges were recognized for their involvement with many things that make Granbury “a wonderful place to live.” The couple works with Preserve Granbury, Tarleton State University, Langdon Center, Hood County Library, Granbury Opera House and many others.

The Inges were also recognized for their philanthropic gifts, as well as sharing their gifts of time and talent.
